cONVERGE

Converge is Scotland’s springboard for university-born innovators. We help students, graduates and staff across all Scottish universities turn their creativity, ideas and innovations into sustainable businesses.

Working on the ground, at universities across Scotland, we help to uncover emerging spinouts and start-ups, acting as a catalyst to accelerate the creation of innovative products and services that will improve lives, safeguard our planet and drive our economy.

SPRE logo

The Scottish Policy and Research Exchange (SPRE) is a network of academics and officials working in new ways to expand the evidence base available to policymakers. Much of this involves encouraging and supporting new voices from the academy to engage with policy.

SPRE develops training and mentoring opportunities for early career researchers, and provides tools in digital and real space that make it easier for researchers and officials to collaborate.

The Data Lab logo

Scotland’s innovation centre for data and AI. The Data Lab helps companies, organisations and individuals capitalise on the opportunities that exist within the field of data science — working with them to grow their operations, develop innovative new projects and ensure they have the data skills needed for the future.

Scottish Enterprise High-Growth Spinout Programme
The High-Growth Spinout Programme (HGSP) provides funding to support the commercialisation of advanced technologies developed at Scotland's universities, research institutes and NHS boards. The objective is to create new high-growth companies with the potential to generate significant economic impact in Scotland.

Knowledge Transfer Partnerships (KTPs) can help you to lead rewarding and ongoing collaborations with innovative businesses who require access to your skills and expertise to help them develop.

The West of Scotland KTP Centre will work with you to facilitate the development and running of your project. They are there to help and support you at every step of the process.
