Interface

Interface is a central hub connecting organisations from a wide variety of national and international industries to all of Scotland’s universities, research institutes and colleges. Interface provides a free match-making service to initiate collaborations between private, public or third sector organisations and Scotland’s world-leading academic expertise, research, technologies and specialist facilities to help them grow. A range of funding mechanisms are available to facilitate these industry-academia collaborations, such as Innovation Vouchers.

SPRE logo

SPRE

The Scottish Policy and Research Exchange (SPRE) is a network of academics and officials working in new ways to expand the evidence base available to policymakers. Much of this involves encouraging and supporting new voices from the academy to engage with policy.

SPRE develops training and mentoring opportunities for early career researchers, and provides tools in digital and real space that make it easier for researchers and officials to collaborate.

Within the ICURe programme, we have developed a range of funding and commercialisation training with industry experts, and this is delivered via our four key programmes; ICURe Engage, ICURe Discover, ICURe Explore and ICURe Exploit.
