ICURe
Innovate UK ICURe is a pre-accelerator programme for researchers. This programme is designed to help explore the commercial application and potential of UK research.
Within the ICURe programme, we have developed a range of funding and commercialisation training with industry experts, and this is delivered via our four key programmes; ICURe Engage, ICURe Discover, ICURe Explore and ICURe Exploit.

SPRE
The Scottish Policy and Research Exchange (SPRE) is a network of academics and officials working in new ways to expand the evidence base available to policymakers. Much of this involves encouraging and supporting new voices from the academy to engage with policy.
SPRE develops training and mentoring opportunities for early career researchers, and provides tools in digital and real space that make it easier for researchers and officials to collaborate.

Interface
Interface provides a free and impartial service to help businesses to access academic expertise which enables them to solve challenges, innovate, grow and ultimately become more sustainable.
By working closely with the academic community Interface helps to ensure that collaborating with businesses makes an impact to research and learning and drives regional economic transformation.
Interface also manage collaborative funding programmes, such as Innovation Vouchers, to help offset the cost of business academic projects ensuring effective and successful partnerships.

Scottish Enterprise High-Growth Spinout Programme
The High-Growth Spinout Programme (HGSP) provides funding to support the commercialisation of advanced technologies developed at Scotland’s universities, research institutes and NHS boards. The objective is to create new high-growth companies with the potential to generate significant economic impact in Scotland.

Photonics & Quantum Accelerator
The Photonics & Quantum Accelerator (PQA) is a £4.7M Place Based Impact Acceleration Account (PBIAA) funded by UKRI via the EPSRC.
The PQA funds projects with social and/or economic impact in photonics and quantum technologies based on light in Central Scotland.

Tay Health Tech
Tay Health Tech is a PBIAA based on a nascent cluster aiming to provide community health and care technologies for the Tayside region. Its mission is to support the translation of research into new health and care technologies closer to home.
Tay Health Tech runs funding calls to accelerate the impact of medical device use in the community.

Scotland Beyond Net Zero
Scotland Beyond Net Zero is a collaboration of climate and sustainability experts from Scotland’s universities. Together, they are mobilising research, data and innovation to accelerate Scotland’s transition to Beyond Net Zero. Scotland Beyond Net Zero is a coalition designed to catalyse research collaboration, empower our communities and inform the policymaking and action Scotland needs to reach its ambitious targets.
Scotland Beyond Net Zero has seed funding available for potentially high-impact collaborative and interdisciplinary work on Scotland’s climate challenges.
